Accessibility statement

We are improving the accessibility of the Festival HaChayim website so that people with disabilities can use it comfortably and equitably.

This work is guided by Israeli Standard SI 5568 at level AA and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. A comprehensive assessment is not yet complete; this statement is not a certification of full compliance.

Website adjustments

• Language and reading direction, structured headings, and a skip-to-content link.
• Keyboard navigation, visible focus, and labelled registration fields.
• Date selection using arrow keys and support for reduced-motion preferences.
• Registration assistance by phone or email.

Checks and known limitations

Navigation, date selection and forms have received code review and targeted checks. Complete VoiceOver and NVDA testing, a full contrast audit and assessment of every registration path are still needed. The autumn-festival flyer has a text alternative; please contact us if you need further help or another format.

Accessibility at the venue

We are confirming accessibility arrangements at Baptist Village with the event team. Accessible parking, routes, toilets and showers, seating, accommodation and hearing assistance have not yet been verified. Please contact us before registering if you need a particular adjustment. Verified information will be added here.
